Early in the war, we were involved in supplying vehicles to churches that were evacuating people from dangerous areas, and we also helped organize hundreds of evacuations through our networks of volunteer drivers, churches, and chaplains. Most people traveled west to safety, but some in occupied territories had to travel east through enemy territory to reach safety eventually. Pastor Jed Gourley of Calvary Chapel Tbilisi, Georgia was influential in many of these evacuations, and his church is receiving and caring for many refugees.
